The Wicks will certainly have their work cut out for them after MCC FC found form over the weekend and defeated Parkside by 71 points at Pitcher Park. It was a goal kicking masterclass from the MCC forwards, with Estelle Ashkar (3), Alexandra Clayton (3) and Aish Ravi (2) each kicking multiples and leading the Dees to a final tally of 11.6. Clayton, who came in for her first game since slotting 33 goals in 2018, picked up where she left off with a BOG performance. While the Red Devils failed to kick a goal just one week after accounting for the Wicks, they were well led by Kayla Sutcliffe and Hannah Baird. The MCC will enter their Round 3 match against the Wicks as firm favourites while Parkside will host the Falcons in a twilight fixture at Pitcher Park.
