OUR HISTORY

The MCC football club was formed in 2018 to facilitate a women’s team making its debut in the club colours.  We are the youngest of the MCC’s 13 Sporting Section teams.

The MCC Football Club reached the Preliminary Final in it’s first year and narrowly missed the finals in the second year.

In 2022, the MCC Women's Football team had a massive year.

With co-coaches Rebecca Ticli and Russell Robertson, the team remained undefeated and went on to win the Div 2 VAFA Championships - beating Bulleen by 11 points.

Being a Sporting Section of the MCC, we are lucky to have amazing facilities at Beaumaris Secondary College - with a well maintained oval, and our MCC pavilion with high-quality changerooms, a gym, kitchen and function space, where we regularly host post-game and social functions.

We also hold a strong connection to Melbourne AFLW and Casey VFLW Football Clubs, and although young in terms of years, MCCFC has had a number of players who have graduated into the VFLW ranks at Casey, St Kilda and Port Melbourne.
